Integrating Quality Management Workflows to CRM, ERP, E-commerce, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain Systems

As can be seen from the picture below Quality Events happen way outside of the Quality Domain and related information is registered in various systems that support core business and Supply Chain operations.

Information about these quality events is usually found in different business and supply chain systems as shown in the picture below.

Take, for example, the following RMA

These RMAs (also Returns) are typically captured in an ERP or E-commerce system as shown below.

Oracle RMA

Shopify Returns

A proactive approach for quality improvement is to immediately create a quality event/issue workflow for each of the above RMAs/Returns, find root causes for failure, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Such an approach is only possible if simple and easy integration can be set up and automatically create Quality Event/Issue workflows.

To enable a proactive quality event/issue resolution, KaizenKit provides out-of-the-box integration to many ERP, Sourcing, CRM, and related systems. Below provides an example list of external systems (ERP/SAP, PLM, CRM systems) that are connected to KaizenKit.

An interface to get RMAs is shown below. This interface can be used to proactively get RMAs to initiate Quality Event/Issue workflows.

Quality Management and Continuous Improvement are more proactive and effective when relevant workflows can easily integrate with different Business, Manufacturing and Supply Chain systems. In our experience, integration of quality management workflows to systems where Quality Events are being captured has been difficult due to many organization and technical obstacles. KaizenKit changes the game by providing out-of-the-box integration to many systems and connecting quality workflows to many quality events.
